Starting with the decade in which Marshall Amplification as a company was born, the

JTM1 truly reflects the origins of the company. Based on the tone stack of the JTM45,

and as if the inputs had been ‘jumped’, the JTM1 is the simplest amp in the range in

terms of layout, but still has all the warmth, brashness and bite you would expect in an

amp based on this decade. Everything from bright clean in the amps lower volume

stages, to true Marshall Crunch in the upper can be found; think windmill arm actions and

the wind crying Mary!
